Two Yrs Ago Today...

 On 7/30/21, the wicked one hoped to surprise us with an attack that took us to fifteen minutes from losing Rie, not knowing that the Promise-Keeper had gone ahead of him and promised us that EVERYTHING WOULD BE ALRIGHT.  The Promise-Keeper kept His promise and ironically, the wicked one has had to bear watching the strengthening of our relationship with the Lord through ongoing life changing events.  Isn't He wonderful?!  Praise God🙏.

    Two years. A journey that no one expected, full of difficulties and challenges and yet also filled with victories and strength in love and family. A journey that shows us that even in difficulties, if we look, we will see God’s hands holding us up and together. God gives us a choice, we can focus on the difficulty or look and see the victories. God works in mysterious ways. His concern is for the conditions of our hearts and souls. May his light and love always shine brightly in your hearts as he continues to bring healing for Rie! Hi.  This is Sasan.  On Friday, July 30th, 2021, my wife Rie woke up from a  dream that she shared with my 13-year-old daughter, Mia.  This was an unusual dream.  Rie had never had a dream like that before.  Rie told my daughter that in the dream she "felt surrounded by God's presence", telling her: "EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT".  Rie and Mia wondered about the meaning of such a strange dream.  We praised God for the message. 12/12/23 Update

 Today is Mia's 16th birthday.  The three of us went shopping for clothes for her yesterday.  It was the first time in over two years that Rie shopped without a wheelchair, using just a standard quad walker.   It almost felt like a normal pre-stroke shopping day, including the backache I used to get whenever we went shopping for clothes! Praise God. ❤️🙏

It’s been one year!

It’s been one year since Rie’s stroke on 7/30/2021. We’re thankful for the steady progress despite so many complications. Every apparent set back has proven to be a set up for something better. Praise the Lord! ❤️🙏
