We’re doing well here. Praise the Lord. Rie is being weaned off of one of her neuro meds to decrease the risk of seizures but her reaction time has slowed down as a result. I’m hoping that will improve with time, otherwise she may have to get back on it or on a different medication. Very complicated science since so many different parts if her brain are affected. We’re devoting some time to bringing back the Christmas spirit to our home since Rie and I were stuck in the hospital last year and didn’t see Mia for Christmas. Rie is doing about 30 minutes of exercise/therapy daily. I finished my required medical readings and was able to renew my medical licenses. In 2023, if it is His will and He directs my paths, I hope to donate some time to our local free clinics that help save unborn babies. Rie’s parents and sister are coming here from Virginia and California and will stay with us through Christmas. We’re very excited about that. From here till Christmas, we plan to rejoice, sing, laugh, pray  for you and us for health and happiness, and thank and praise Him in every thing. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-). Love and blessings.❤️🙏

Hi.  This is Sasan.  On Friday, July 30th, 2021, my wife Rie woke up from a  dream that she shared with my 13-year-old daughter, Mia.  This was an unusual dream.  Rie had never had a dream like that before.  Rie told my daughter that in the dream she "felt surrounded by God's presence", telling her: "EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT".  Rie and Mia wondered about the meaning of such a strange dream.  We praised God for the message. 12/12/23 Update

 Today is Mia's 16th birthday.  The three of us went shopping for clothes for her yesterday.  It was the first time in over two years that Rie shopped without a wheelchair, using just a standard quad walker.   It almost felt like a normal pre-stroke shopping day, including the backache I used to get whenever we went shopping for clothes! Praise God. ❤️🙏

It’s been one year!

It’s been one year since Rie’s stroke on 7/30/2021. We’re thankful for the steady progress despite so many complications. Every apparent set back has proven to be a set up for something better. Praise the Lord! ❤️🙏
