Last Day of Quarantine!

 I rested in bed all day.  Only mild cold symptoms now.  FaceTimed with Rie.  She doesn't have any residual COVID symptoms but still occasional spasms which might be from a UTI followed by COVID.  She did speech and occupational therapy yesterday. The doctors said both of our blood tests are perfectly normal.  Praise God! Thank you for the prayers. 💗🙏

I am going to pack the car tonight so I can head out to the hospital at 5 AM before the freeze.

12/12/23 Update

 Today is Mia's 16th birthday.  The three of us went shopping for clothes for her yesterday.  It was the first time in over two years that Rie shopped without a wheelchair, using just a standard quad walker.   It almost felt like a normal pre-stroke shopping day, including the backache I used to get whenever we went shopping for clothes! Praise God. ❤️🙏

It’s been one year!

It’s been one year since Rie’s stroke on 7/30/2021. We’re thankful for the steady progress despite so many complications. Every apparent set back has proven to be a set up for something better. Praise the Lord! ❤️🙏
